How Often Can I Use LED Mask And What Are The Benefits?

LED light therapy has myriad benefits. We like to think of it as a multi-hyphenate because it has a balancing effect on the body in addition to rejuvenating the skin. Our BOOST LED Face Mask  is the ultimate mode of self-care. Here is everything you need to know about how often you can use an LED mask and what the benefits are.

How To Use An LED Face Mask

Using an LED face mask, like The Light Salon BOOST, is easy with just 2 steps

1. Apply the mask to the face

2. Fasten the straps, making sure it feels comfortable

Our LED face mask delivers clinically proven red 633nm and near-infrared 830nm wavelengths, which have been proven to have numerous benefits on the skin.

LED therapy can help lots of different skin types because red light increases the production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) from the cells’ mitochondria, which is the energy source of all cells. With an increase in ATP, skin cells have more energy to devote to optimal cell functioning, regeneration, and healing.

But in order to witness results, consistency is key since LED treatments deliver cumulative benefits.

Where To Use An LED Face Mask

Our light-weight, portable, and medical-grade silicone LED Mask works on all skin tones and types within 10 minutes. And because it’s hands-free, don your mask whilst cooking or chatting on the phone with your closest confidants. Think of it as the ultimate multi-tasker.

How Often Can I Use An LED Mask?

So how often should you use our LED mask?

For best results, treat skin for a minimum of 3 to 5 days a week for 10 minutes.

We recommend also doing a sensitisation patch test prior to your first dose of light. Just place the BOOST LED Device over your inner arm and allow it to run for the full 10 minutes. If your skin feels hot or uncomfortable, stop using the device immediately. After the treatment, wait at least six hours. If the skin on your inner arm is red or itchy, the BOOST LED Device is unsuitable for you. If after six hours there is no reaction, use your LED mask as normal.
